If i played the lottery, and actually won it, i would most definitely use the money to give myself, and my house, a make over. Reading all these design blogs makes me wish i had the resources to make my house look very elegant and rustic at the same time. Victorian is the word that comes to mind. And there are also so many ladies with great style out there that i wish i could mimick, but my current wardrobe has me stuck wearing what i already have, until the day i have a real job and make some real money.

I've been plagued with these headaches lately that are almost paralyzing. One night my only relief was taking something that had codine in it. I wish i could just go to the doctor and get a full head and body scan just to make sure nothing funny was going on. I don't think student insurance covers that though...

Since I have made the commitment to stay in this house for a long time, I have actually invested in my room. I've put things up on the walls (which is a huge step for me). I've put up curtains (instead of leaving trash bags on my windows for 8 months). And I've made it more like a home here instead of just a place I'll be living for another year. The girls and I agree that we probably want to stay here until we get married, or get jobs that move us elsewhere, or any other important factors that would cause one to move. I really love this house. And the icing on the cake is that we have really sweet landlords. They are a married couple. The husband is a construction worker, but I think he might own his company. Which is great because it means he can fix almost anything around here. And the wife is a gymnastics teacher, who also owns her own gym I believe. Both are just as nice as can be. I feel really settled here. It's a great feeling.

I've moved around a lot the past couple of years. Ever since I was 19. It's just nice to feel at home again. At least for now. :)
